BLUF: Disaster Recovery Centers in Indiana will be closed for Memorial Day weekend and will reopen Tuesday, May 30th, during normal hours; however, centers in Sullivan, Johnson, and Morgan countries are open for those requiring assistance with government applications and local resources to answer questions about disaster relief programs associated with the March 31-April 1, 2017 storms.
The government agencies of FEMA, the state of Indiana, and the U.S. Small Business Administration are working to offer assistance for federal aid applications, local resources, and questions you may have. The centers located in Sullivan, Johnson, and Morgan counties are open to you regardless of your county of residence, and will not require an appointment for services. Apply for disaster relief assistance by visiting a Disaster Recovery Center, contacting the FEMA Helpline, online or through the FEMA App, and note that all federal aid applications close on June 14.
