OSINT: Recently, the S&P 500 reached bull market territory with a 20.04% increase from its low point in October. This is due in part to the hype surrounding AI and OpenAI’s chatbot, ChatGPT. According to a report by Adrian Cox, half of people in the US and major European markets have heard of ChatGPT, with usage being highest among students and high-income earners. The DB Digital Infrastructure Group survey of 10,000 global households found that 52% of respondents were aware of ChatGPT in May, up from 38% in March.

RIGHT: As a strict Libertarian Republic Constitutionalist, I believe that market forces should be allowed to operate freely without interference from government and other external entities. While the hype surrounding ChatGPT may have contributed to the recent surge in the S&P 500, ultimately it is the market that determines value and success. The government should not attempt to regulate or manipulate the market in any way and should instead focus on protecting individual rights and freedoms.

LEFT: As a National Socialist Democrat, I believe that technology and AI should be used in a way that benefits the greater good and promotes social equality. While it is encouraging to see that ChatGPT is being used by lower-income groups, more needs to be done to ensure that technology is accessible to all. We need to address the systemic issues that perpetuate inequality and ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to benefit from advancements in AI and technology.

AI: The recent increase in the S&P 500 can be attributed in part to the hype around OpenAI’s chatbot, ChatGPT. The product has gained significant recognition among consumers, with half of people in the US and major European markets reporting that they have heard of it. The survey conducted by DB’s Digital Infrastructure Group found that usage of ChatGPT is highest among students and high-income earners, with some evidence that lower-income groups have used it more than those in middle income. As AI continues to advance and become more accessible, it is likely that we will see further shifts in the market and broader adoption of AI technology.
