The percentage of documents that are open access has also increased over the years. The number of authors per document has increased, with a wide range from 1 to over 100 authors. Collaboration with other institutions, both within Australia and internationally, has increased substantially over time. Different subject areas have been covered by museum staff, with significant differences between different time periods.
