BLUF: A Maryland man has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including murder and theft, after allegedly killing an elderly woman with a forklift, stealing her car, and burglarizing a Lowe’s store. The accused broke into Lowe’s, stole a forklift, and used it to ram through the gates before driving to a nearby Home Depot parking lot where he struck the victim’s car. The victim got out and tried to run away, but the suspect followed her, hit her with the forklift, ran over her, stole her car, and fled the scene.
