BLUF: This analysis delves into a recent study exploring the socio-demographic characteristics of people with disabilities, prevalent disability types and their causes, and the disabilities’ impact on education and employment in specific regions of Ethiopia.

Employment statistics further echo these societal barriers, with only 2.63% of people with disabilities holding jobs.
