BLUF: Booting economic growth and innovation, diversity in cities could be optimized through locations with a plethora of unique shops and services, attracting a mixed bag of socio-economic backgrounds, as per recent Complexity Science Hub research.

The affluent interaction between people of diverse backgrounds sparks the exchange of rich ideas and innovation, driving economic growth. However, even in such vibrant urban spaces, there remains a level of segregation. Now, a recent study from Complexity Science Hub highlights potential solutions. This study, led by researcher Sándor Juhász, explores the role of urban spaces characterized by rare and diverse amenities that attract people from a broad socio-economic spectrum.
