But what’s often unacknowledged are basic life skills like cooking, paying bills, doing laundry, as well as functional skills like argument construction, logical fallacy identification, fact-checking, project cost estimation, and varied career option exploration.
However, reforming the education system isn’t a plausible solution. This calls for alternative education models like homeschooling, where learners are taken through lessons at their own pace and are exposed to a world of practical wisdom. They are also accorded an abundance of freedom, which fosters experiential learning.
