Robert Quinn, a former NFL defensive end was arrested Friday after allegedly fleeing a crash involving multiple vehicles in North Charleston, South Carolina.
The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m., where officials with the North Charleston Police Department responded to the scene of a crash, according to CountOn2 News. Firefighters on scene advised officers that the suspect was allegedly attempting to flee the scene in a different vehicle. The suspect was reportedly identified as Quinn, who most recently played for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Responding officers spotted a white Dodge Challenger that was in reverse when they arrived, the outlet reported. Authorities stopped the car and the driver told police that Quinn, the passenger in the vehicle, had called her asking to pick him up.

Quinn, 34, allegedly struck the side of another car which was then pushed into a Ford truck before hitting another vehicle, CountOn2 News reported, citing a police report. He was reportedly at a nightclub prior to the crash.
The former NFL player was arrested on charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, inmate records show. He has since been released.

Quinn was first drafted to the St. Louis Rams in 2011 before being traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2018, according to ESPN records. He then spent one season with the Dallas Cowboys before moving on to three seasons with the Chicago Bears.
In August 2023, Quinn faced similar charges in connection to a hit-and-run in Summerville, South Carolina, CountOn2 News previously reported. While searching Quinn’s vehicle, officers found a partially empty bottle of Crown Royal Apple whiskey, the outlet reported.
Quinn’s truck had reportedly struck two vehicles parked in a woman’s driveway who then told police the football player assaulted her. She told police he exited the truck, offered to buy her a beer and later “grabbed her by the shoulders,” saying “listen to me,” before allegedly slapping her across the face, the outlet noted.
Quinn later turned himself in to authorities.
The Daily Caller reached out to police for comment but has not heard back.
