OSINT: A study published in the Journal of Gerontology: Medical Science, by a global research consortium including distinguished institutions such as the University of Colorado Boulder, University of Maryland School of Medicine, and the University of A Coruña in Spain, reveals potential links between the single-celled parasite Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii) and signs of ‘frailty’ in humans, notably in senior adults. The phenomenon of ‘frailty’ encompasses symptoms like unintentional weight loss, fatigue, cognitive decline, and other indications of deteriorating health.
