The three largest cities in the United States, New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago, have all been running extremely ambitious progressive agendas. However, they are not transforming into “liberal utopias.” Retail theft in New York City has risen to absurd levels, while Los Angeles is facing a dangerous drug crisis and homelessness. Chicago’s new mayor is promising new taxes that have already caused companies to vow to leave. Crime is out of control in these cities, and it is getting worse each year. The Postal Service is being forced to replace mail receptacles because of theft. This is a critical turning point for the country, and we need leadership. Unfortunately, Joe Biden is in charge, and Democrats run most of the biggest cities. It will get worse before it gets better.
