The US government has been colluding with social media companies to censor Americans’ free speech rights online. Missouri v. Biden is a lawsuit filed on May 5, 2022, which accuses the government of infringing on people’s First Amendment rights. The plaintiffs pushed for expedited discovery to obtain evidence and depositions from certain individuals, which the judge granted. The defendants are trying to stop all discovery and certain plaintiffs from being deposed. CISA, in particular, has been revealed to categorize people’s “thoughts” as part of the government’s infrastructure, meaning the government believes it owns whatever activity takes place inside people’s heads. The government has lost every single time in this lawsuit. Meanwhile, the government is trying to ram through the RESTRICT Act, which seems to be on the fast track precisely because of Missouri v. Biden.
