BLUF: NFL player Hassan Haskins has been arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault by strangulation after allegedly strangling his girlfriend Makiah Green in a domestic violence incident. The couple had a disagreement when Haskins noticed that Green had liked another man’s Instagram photo. The argument escalated, and Haskins shoved her to the ground and strangled her. Green sustained injuries, and the police were called. There was a second incident where Haskins allegedly left Green at a restaurant, and she retaliated by throwing a glass at him and damaging his property. Both Haskins and Green were arrested and charged. The Tennessee Titans, Haskins’ team, released a statement acknowledging the situation and stating that they are gathering additional information.
